Things are moving right along towards the purchase of the apartment. I sent a ton of papers to my mortgage broker so that he can start the process of getting me a loan. He is a great guy to work with. I also spoke with my attorney about what still needs to be done in my apartment. I am going to put it in writing and fax it to him in the next day or so just to confirm and make sure it makes its way to owners since I want to make sure it gets done.
I am also excited because it looks like one of my closest friends is going to move into the building. He came by last night and we went in and explored the 2 possible apartments that he is looking at. He has a tough decision to make but I know he'll make the one that's best for him. It will be so cool for him to be a mere three floors away.
So, we look to be on track for closing to occur in the late summer/early fall.
