New Car

Friday morning, I took my car to be greased and oiled at Bar San. I figured that nothing major was going on with the car...well, that all changed when I got a phone call telling me that the catalytic converter needs to be replaced shortly. That is an approximately $800 part when you add in the labor. Add to that the fact that I know my air conditioner is starting to go as well. The car is 9 years old and has over 137,000 miles...so, that means time for a new car. Mom and I went looking Friday evening. We looked at the Jeep Compass and Liberty and the Honda CR-V. I really liked the way the CR-V looked and drove. So, after a little number crunching and dinner at home, we went back and I bought the car. Tomorrow evening, I will be picking up my new silver, with black fabric, CR-V. I am so excited...especially since this is the first time in 9 years that I will have a new car.
